This is an awesome one-piece knife capable of incredible punishment, such as splitting logs (for making bows, or hearths for fire-making, etc.). The hollow handle allows you to attach a handle. High carbon steel. Includes a sheath. The blade is 7 inches; the knife is 12 1/4 inches overall.We’ve used this for the most punishing jobs, such as splitting logs for bow-making, making hearths for fire, and other jobs. After a few decades of use, Christopher’s Bushman has no side to side bends and no top-of-blade flattening. This is an excellent knife for tough jobs and you don’t have to worry about scuffing up an expensive pretty knife.
