DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, November 5\,  6 p.m.\, SMOKES\, SOAPS\, AND ROPES! \nTake a journey with us learning about the many common plants used for “smokes” – meaning\, making fire\, and keeping your fire going. We’ll also show some of the many plants that are used for smoking in your pipe if you want a tobacco alternative (like kinnikinnik)\, and for medicinal purposes. Then we’ll look at the diverse plants used for quality soaps for millennia\, plants like yucca and ceonothus. Finally\, we’ll see some of the plants used for making twines and ropes. Quite an adventure.
