DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, October 17\, 4 p.m.\, ACORN PROCESSING WORKSHOP. Acorns fall from oak trees\, and they are part of traditional diets world-wide. They were an important part of the diet of California’s indigenous population. We’ll share how to process acorns by at least two different methods. We will demonstrate the steps that it takes to go from a raw acorn to a tasty pancake. Tune in and ask questions.
