DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, August 20\, 6 p.m. BASIC NAVIGATION. \nIn this program\, we will begin with a discussion of how we take general navigation for granted in our society with all our smart phones and GPS devices. We’ll share ways to observe the world for clues to directions. \nWe’ll look at ways to observe the sun\, stars\, and moon for navigation\, and then some fundamentals about using a compass.
