DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, January 18\, 10 a.m.\, SHELTER WORKSHOP\, $40.\nWe’ll explore a wild area and learn about shelters\, both man-made shelters that you can carry in your pack and the type of shelter that you’d have to create using only what nature has provided. You will learn by doing so wear gloves if necessary. Along the way\, you will learn about the uses of plants of the area\, for food\, medicine\, tools\, etc. Location: Orcas Park\, in the Big Tujunga Wash\, northeast of Hansen Dam\, in Lake View Terrace.
