DESCRIPTION:SHELTER.  Thursday\, August 11\, noon. \nToday\, we will focus upon  wilderness shelters. You’ll get to set up a few modern shelters\, but mostly we’ll work on a few of the more traditional sorts of shelters that you’d construct strictly from the wild. These include the body hollow\, the lean-to\, and the half-dome shelter. \n \nYou’ll also discover various ways to stay warm on your bed in such shelters.  Class includes a short walkabout\, hands-on\, some plant identification and gathering\, and fire-making. \n \nPricing: $45 per class; $30 for senior and students. \nLocation:  We’ll send you the location upon registration.
