DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, June 24\, 6:30  p.m. \n \n  \nNUTS AND BERRIES OF CALIFORNIA. \nThis is a fascinating look at the foods that are all around\, and often non noticed.  Based on Christopher’s book of the same name\, we will look at the common native wild nuts and berries of California\, learn how to identify them\, and learn some recipes for use. \n  \nWe will also explore some of the non-native introduced plants that are growing all around us as street trees and ornamentals\, which have food value. DESCRIPTION:Friday\, March 26 \, 7 p.m. \nCREATE YOUR OWN TEA AND TONIC GARDEN —  WITH MOSTLY WILD PLANTS. \nWin a real tea plant! \n \nEveryone would like to have their tea plants nearby\, in the kitchen garden\, available for flavorable beverages and medicinal teas.
